Here is the history of this 3D Collection: Photographer->Son->3D
Entertainment-> Sheltone Publications->BettieMaePage. There were many
sets of Bettie Page 3D slides commercially available in the 50s and a
few of these slides are SIMILAR to specific slides available in those
sets. Ones which are original are Bettie Page in the boat, Bettie Page
with the red nighty, Bettie Page on the stripped blanket and Bettie Page
on the Zebra Blanket. I also have never seen the Bettie Page holding the
phone image and the Bettie Page sitting by the military panorama image
before. A few years ago someone asked if Charles West photographed the
military panorama photo and the answer is no. Although I suspected he
did not since it was a 3D image, I called him just to verify if he ever
photographed Bettie in 3D and he said he did not. My favorites from the
set are of Bettie Page posing in the boat. I love photographs of Bettie
Page doing mundane real life activities!
3D Entertainment made a dupe set of these in the late 1980s. Sheltone
Publications made a card set in the mid 1990s then lent the slides to
the publishers of "Bettie Page: Life Of A Pinup Legend". The second half
of this section are scans which show both images. I have heard if you
put your hand in a karate chop position and place it between your eyes
and stare cross-eyed at the images, you will get the 3D effect. It
worked for me on image 088. You have to experiment with the distance you
hold your hand away from your head and how far you cross your eyes.
