Wendy was photographed by master photographer
Tom Sutherland
in the latter part of 2002. The set starts on Sept. 04 2002 and ends at
Sept. 12 2002. Many beautiful places in the Northwestern U.S. were used as
settings. She has that great "girl-next-door" quality mixed in with a
little bit of mystery. Wendy is a rare model who can conveys many different
people. You'll see when you expand the thumbnails.
Tom Sutherland: "I have spent much of my life behind the camera. raised
in Hawaii, I began my career shooting friends and models. While living in
California I moved on to celebrities, musicians, ad campaigns and nature,
shooting color film exclusively. In the mid-1980's I re-discovered black and
white. Since that time, I have been lucky enough to be in the rare position
of being able to sell my vintage prints to collectors world wide. Generally,
the images I enjoy creating are dark and mysterious. although somewhat grainy
in effect, this is what interests me. My current projects include several
more photography books and Limited Edition portfolio's.
Tom has his own style which harkens back to some of the great photpgraphers of
the 1950s. He does not shy away from burying his subjects in darkness. Tom has
many gorgeous photographs which are
currently available
and are worth looking at!
